We had the honour to be included in the conference - PVMA - Philippine Veterinary Medical Association
Another important international veterinary conference on the Asian continent in the country of the Philippines, to which the Chairman of the Board of the NGO "SVBO" Andriy Kletsov and Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Development and European Integration Natalya Kletsova of SNAU had the honor of being invited to become speakers at the 91st Scientific Conference and Annual Meeting "Strengthening One Health in Veterinary Emergencies and Disaster Resilience" (February 2024) PVMA - Philippine Veterinary Medical Association
The most important goal was to inform the people of another continent about the terrible events that are taking place in Ukraine, about the war that Russia has unleashed against our country. What problems do veterinarians and animals face? We were surprised by the question of several colleagues "Is the war over?" We heard you gave up... “NO, we're not done and we still need your support”. It was very nice to share with other veterinary doctors the experience of how staffing is done in wartime and how it was in peacetime. We shared stories about vets who gave their lives for our freedom. Eternal memory to them.
They also told about those who managed to survive and keep themselves as a doctor and stay in the profession. Constantly talking about them, we maintain respect and honor for them, their families, children, the history of our country...
We are extremely grateful for the invitation of fellow vets from FVE, UEVP, WVA, PNVC, PVMA, SAVA... who provide their platforms to disseminate information and the opportunity to share experiences of animal and human survival during wartime and appreciate what each nation has in peacetime. We sincerely thank PVMA colleagues for the opportunity to be part of your Conference. We are proud of it. A big bow to the courageous Ukrainian people, who did not allow themselves to be "eaten" in the last 10 years.
