We have some great news we'd like to share!

Тhe NGO “Society of Veterinary Business Owners” was added to the Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FECAVA)

This decision was made at the Board Meeting of FECAVA on April 27, 2024.

Thank you President Danny Holmes, Vice President Ann Criel and the board for the opportunity to join the largest European veterinary community. A low bow to UEVP President Volker Moser for supporting Ukrainians.

We became associate members of FECAVA, which increased the representation from Ukraine. Why associates? According to the FECAVA charter, up to 200 members have 1 vote, up to 2,000 members have 2 votes, and from 2,001 members the country representative has 3 votes. Until 04/27/2024, Ukraine was represented by USAVA (with 1,300 members and 2 votes from Ukraine), even if the number of members were combined, the total number would not give Ukraine a 3rd vote. Therefore, the NGO "SVBO" decided to join the Associate members without the right to vote, while retaining all other membership privileges.

One of the main conditions for acquiring membership in FECAVA is the presence in the organization of only veterinary medicine doctors and veterinary licensees (members of our NGO "SVBO" only have veterinary licensees!). It is the statutory goals of the organizations that must coincide, which range from the protection of animal rights to the comprehensive support of the veterinary profession. Our public organization is open to all interested veterinary licensees of Ukraine. Do you want to build the history of veterinary medicine in Ukraine, develop it together with us?!

Today it is possible, because becoming an associate member of FECAVA is now simple - join the members of the NGO "Union of Veterinary Business Owners", pay membership fees for the current year 2024, and together we will move veterinary medicine in Ukraine forward and create the most comfortable, safest conditions for life and treatment (which will meet international standards) of our tailed friends! Because every full member of the NGO "SVBO" automatically becomes a member of FECAVA. - Check the status of membership and payment of contributions for 2024.
