We are proud to announce that another program of the #SaveVets_SafePets_cont project is COMPLETED!!
In October 2023, the Public Organization "Society of Veterinary Business Owners" received a grant, the main purpose of which was to help animals affected by a full-scale war. In December 2023, we successfully reported with our #SaveVets_SafePets project to our grantees Trupanion та Mightvet. This time, we tried to cover the regions that suffered the most as a result of the russian-Ukrainian war, were previously occupied, as well as clinics that are located in front-line territories or whose owners belong to the category of IDPs. As a result of the work, assistance was provided to 26 veterinary clinics from 11 regions of Ukraine. 8388 manipulations were carried out, 2796 animals (females) were operated on, vaccinated and identified, 79% of them were cats, and 21% were dogs. The number of people we helped is 1,896. The average cost of the complex service was $46.5 per animal.
New in this grant was cooperation with Save Pets of Ukraine and U-Hearts under the management of Anastasia Ivanichenko. Help was provided to volunteers and shelters. Clinics were provided with chips, a complex vaccine and animal passports. Caregivers and owners - feed and anti-parasitic treatment. 51 dogs and 154 cats were operated on.
