Lysak Oleg Myroslavovych — member of the board, experienced veterinarian, entrepreneur, scientist.
Formative years and education:
Born in 1977 in Ukraine. He studied at school (1984–1992), after which he entered the Rohatyn State Agricultural Technical School, which he graduated with honors in 1996. He continued his education at the Lviv State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with honors in 2001.
Foreign experience:
In 2002–2005, he lived and worked in Ireland, where he got acquainted with innovative approaches in veterinary medicine. He earned start-up capital, which became the basis for the realization of his dream — the creation of his own veterinary clinic. This period also helped him improve his English and gain invaluable life experience.
Entrepreneurial activity:
After returning to Ukraine in 2005, he opened the first veterinary office and pharmacy with a team of three people. This was the beginning of the creation of the OlVet network of veterinary clinics, which now has three departments.
Oleg Myroslavovych is proud of the created team of like-minded people who professionally provide assistance to pets, adhering to high quality standards.
Scientific activity:
In 2022, he entered postgraduate studies at the Lviv State University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology. The subject of scientific research is methods of disinfection in veterinary clinics.
Values and challenges:
Oleg Lysak is sure that the key to success is love for work, professionalism, teamwork and constant self-improvement. He considers the biggest challenges to be saving the business and the team in difficult conditions, in particular during the war.
Personal life:
Married, raising two daughters. Finding a balance between work and family is not easy, because veterinary work takes up a large part of time, but the support of relatives helps to overcome all difficulties.
